Course Overview: This food safety course is designed by the Maltese Food Safety Commission which leads to the attainment of the food handling license card category B as prescribed by Legal Notice 178/2001.

Information on Animal By-Products including the respective EU Reg. No. (EC) 1069 of 2009:
a) The three categories of ABP
b) Specified Risk Material (SRM)
c) Identification, storage, and disposal of ABPs
d) ABP storage container criteria
e) Authorized ABP collectors
f) Keeping records and consignment notes.
Learning Outcomes: This course aims to give the food handler an in-depth knowledge of food hygiene principles.
